Q: I’m an Offline Marketing Consultant. I’ve been struggling to get clients for more than a few months now. I just can’t seem to land my first one. I’ve been doing a lot of cold calling, mailing and even going out and trying to meet with people in person. Nothing seems to be working. What does?
A: It’s ironic that many marketing consultants have the problem you’re having of acquiring their first client. Here they are in a business where they’re going to show other small business owners how to drive traffic to their business and they can’t figure out how to do it for themselves.

Let’s say that you’ve only been in business for three months. You’ve already invested in a website, logo, business card, training material, advertising, mailing, etc… and you still don’t have anything to show for it.
In the same three months you could have a minimum of 15 paying clients and could be earning around $10,000/mo. If you know what other services you could provide your clients you could upgrade them slowly over the next six months to could be paying you $3,000/mo each which translates into $45,000/mo.
