Offline Marketing Pro — What Do You Think of It?

Offline Marketing Pro

Offline Marketing Pro

Q: You’re an offline marketing pro and I wanted to get your opinion. I’ve just purchased this offline marketing system from someone else and I’m not sure about it. It’s supposed to be about licensing your marketing plan to businesses but it doesn’t really go into that or provide a contract that covers that. It also kind of leaves me hanging as to what to do if I do get a client? It looks and sounds good but I’m not sure.

I’m serious about starting my own offline marketing consulting business and want to do it right. I like your program and have no problem with paying you $2500 or even $10,000 for that matter if you can really provide me with the tools I need to get started. It is more than worth it.

My question is, “Does your program have a way of protecting me from losing a client once they learn how they can implement my marketing plan?” I don’t want to do all of this work and then lose my income.

You’re the only one who seems to have a licensed program for training offline marketing consultants so I thought you might already have a way of protecting me from being cheated.

Sorry for being so long winded but this really bothers me. I don’t see how any consultant can protect themselves from a client who might choose to terminate their services or quit paying them.

A: I understand your concerns, Diane. I’m only loosely aware of the course “Offline Marketing Pro” which you’re referring to and have not really reviewed it in any detail. Even if I had I wouldn’t want to comment on someone’s work. If they asked me to critique it I would be happy to but only privately.

Protecting my work was a concern of mine when I was first getting started. There were a lot of marketing consultants who were talking about licensing and about residual income but no one was really talking about a realistic plan to ensure you continued to get paid and the client wouldn’t leave you out of the loop.

I believe most of them were relying upon the honesty of the business they were working with and the contracts they had signed between each other.

Me? I’m not that trusting. Don’t get me wrong, I love my clients and tend to be picky about who I will work with. Even my students have to go through a background check because my training can be used for bad as well as good.

It took me awhile to figure out how to do this. Once I did, I no longer worried about it. I can’t tell you how I did it because that’s proprietary and intellectual property. However, I can tell you that my students don’t have to worry about a client not paying them. They will continue to receive residual income for as long as the client continues to use their marketing plan.

I have a vested interest in all of my students both on a personal and a financial level. My students enjoy the fact that I take care of the details leaving them to do what they love to do.

Think about it,
Talk to you soon….
