Starting an Offline Marketing Business

Starting an Offline Marketing Business

Starting an Offline Marketing Business

Q: Starting an offline marketing business: Thanks for your long and detailed post. You always have great points.

I’ve done some SEO, video marketing and PPC for my sites and rank well. Plus I was a marketing director at several companies so I am used to speaking in front of people. All of the information that is in the training stuff is arleady here and other places. I just like that he has a system for it. Templates, how to contact businesses and what to say, etc.

Do you also offer this type of training/info? What is the price to get started with your program?

A: If you have training material from other trainers then I would recommend that you give it a try.  My way is different from both of theirs but it is by no means the best way or only way for everyone. Only you can say whether you believe it will work for you or not.

As for my way, I don’t have a lot of templates, contracts, etc… And, I don’t do an information dump or feed my students to the sharks. My students are much like my clients. I have in investment in each one of them and depend upon them for residual income.

I provide 1on1 training and support. I don’t sell my “system”, I license it. I don’t sell products, I license them. I don’t give those I license everything at once. I provide it to them in steps, ensuring they understand and can implement each step.

My training is a “step-by-step-follow-the-dots” blueprint. It’s intended for those with no experience at marketing or consulting and teaches them how to consult and market their business. There’s no guessing as to which businesses to target. No wondering if they’re going to make a “sale” this month or not. No hoping for new clients.

The first month is agonizing slow for many because they’re anxious to get started and make money. However, the first month is critical for the student so they have a firm grasp on what they’re offering and how to offer it. They are taught how to consult rather than how to sell their services.

Once they have their first three paying clients then I customize the training for them according to their personality, skills and expertise. If you’re comfortable speaking before groups then I’ll show you how to organize a seminar/workshop, which you’re paid in advance for, which will place up to 100 pre-qualified business owners in the audience.

I personally have a little more than 80% conversion rate but I’ve been at it longer. Out of that, you only need ten clients or 10% conversion. Ten clients translates into about $7000/mo NET residual income to you to begin. Then as you go through the system you introduce them to other services which they’ll want because unlike others you have proven you can produce results.

Actually there are quite a few income streams you can generate from the consulting business.

There is something you should be aware of, I do require a NC/ND and Licensing Agreement to be signed. Some people have a problem with that but then this isn’t for everyone. However, this is a business and a passion for me not a hobby or something to make a few bucks this month for and drop it later.

I also require a background check, again some have a problem with that. And, you would have to agree that my company provide 100% of your outsourcing work. Again, some people have a problem with this but this is how I earn my income. I don’t make it off of selling ebooks, conducting seminars, videos or any other nonsense. My business model is based upon residual income not on one time “sales”.

Anyway, thank you for your interest…
Think about it,
Talk to you soon….
